I was on the sidewalk, walking home from school when I heard “DON’T JUMP!” someone yelled. Suddenly I was surrounded by emergency service vehicles. “MOVE MOVE MOVE!!” They urged. Three firefighters and two police officers raced in. I was in the middle of a suicide attempt. It was an apartment building, many people glared from below and from apartment decks. The air was tense, giant blow-up pillows were exploding violently everywhere. Police urged people to move out of the way. It was crazy. She jumped. She suddenly jerked hard. She had been caught in a grappled net. Crazy. Insane. 100 Words.
