Clumsily i stumble into my plain brown boarded room in my mountain shack. It had been raining all morning, the journey  was always a treacherous one to get to the toilet outside. My little shack merely a pimple on the gargantuan white coated beast towering over Aotearoa. "Time to light the fire." I mutter. Just as i pick up the wood and kindling a fearsome roar echoes throughout the torn landscape. Dropping the wood i rush petrified over to the rifle cabinet but stop in my tracks. Suddenly a gastly beast reaches through the roof. I am plucked and devoured.

100 Word Challenge, Week 2.

I woke up in a daze, squinting at my surroundings. I soon realized I was planted in a hospital room. Then it all came back.
The eyes, the car... Soon enough, I began hyperventilating after what felt like forever, I was released. I breathed in the cool air as I began to stroll to my car, I sat there, retrospectively looking over everything from this week, I sighed and continued home. It had been raining all morning when I got home, Sighing, I continued reading, Tired from the events. Then, I noticed someone outside.
It was the same haunting eyes.

Drips of water rolled down my plump cheeks. It had been raining all morning for the first time in a month my friends and I were making the most of it. As we splashed around in the water a cloud of fog surrounded us. All of a sudden something didn't feel right. We started going home but the fog had made us disorientated. We were LOST! Instantly I heard something whispering to itself. I swiftly spun around and I saw there lying on the ground were all my friends. Suddenly I feel an aching pain in my back then...

It had been raining all morning, the power was out and there was literally nothing to do. My dad was out working and mum was doing the grocery shopping, then there was me stuck at home with no power and nothing to do. I could of gone with mum but I had to babysit my two brothers who can't sit still for a minute and start fighting over the most stupid things. I decided to have a sleep to try pass time. When I woke up it was still only 12pm. "Nooooooooo" I screamed. Could this day get any worse?

I felt bad today. The weather was really bad when I was going to the school. The rain stopped at 12:10pm so I couldn’t go to outside and play. Plus, my teacher gave me so much work to do. When I got back from the school, I started my homework. After I ate dinner, I turned on the TV. The weather reporter said, “........It had been raining all morning in Hamilton today. But luckily, tomorrow is going to be sunny so don’t worry. In Auckland……..” When reporter announced that tomorrow’s weather is going to be fine, I felt relieved.

This is possibly the worst day of my life. Actually, it is. My name is Carter and this is how it all went wrong.

It had been raining all morning, and I had been listening to Mr Claire droning on about fractions, Then , over the loudspeaker Principal Luka said "Carter Denning come to my office."

My heart beat fast as I slowly opened the door. Principal Luka smiled and pointed to the chair in front of him.
"Carter, I have some bad news for you. Your parents have both been killed in a gang shootout. I am so sorry"
My heart stopped.

Jackson, 100 Words W1 T3

Walking, walking, walking that's all that's been happening for the past half hour. I’d lost my parents hours earlier. I had veered far off track. I had to find shelter and water and quickly it was noon. Great light. But. It Was Hot. Very Hot. Extremely Hot. I was thirsty, I would do anything for a glass of water soon. I had been walking along the side of a cliff. Not daring to look over. I decided after a while I should peer down, so as I peered over the ledge a bird swooped up. Close. Water. Clean Water. Amazing.

The indulgent sound of rapid white water fills my ears . The wooden planks cuddled my feet from the long drop below. The man who tied  my feet told me it was his first day forcing me to cough up a weak smile. When I looked over the edge I saw rushing wind blowing past my face ,as the bottom of the gorge grew closer to my face . But in a split second my body was met with a cold awakening of ;deep blue water and hard rocks. And instead of a springy cord pulling me up, I got bungie death.

It had been raining all morning, and Lily and Jake were sitting on the old couch that was full of holes. Looking deep into each others eyes, they both knew they had to find something to do. So they grabbed a old pen and some paper, and wrote all the things they could think of. Laughing with tears of joy, they spent hours trying to think of something to do. When they finally gave up they realised that they had, had so much fun today. Trying to find something to do, when they had already been doing something really fun.

I remember that crazy day. It had been raining all morning but even before mum told me I had a good feeling. I had been sitting in class (totally bored) studying a maths problem when she burst in. I looked up and all I could see was the tears flowing quickly down her face. She gestured wordlessly outside and I followed, my heart beating rapidly. Suddenly she couldn't keep a smile off her face and she said the words I so longed to hear: "Darling I've just won the lotto!" Talk about a shock! All I could say was "Wow!"

"Let me take you back to the day I did the sky tower bungee jump."
"To start of with it had been raining all morning so I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to do the bungee jump. Eventually the rain passed and I was able to do the bungee jump. Standing in the elevator was like torture because my legs were trembling and I couldn't contain myself because of all the nerves. With all fear and worries aside I finally jumped.
Thinking back about it doesn't even sound that bad, but I assure you, it was!"

It had been raining all morning which didn't help lightning up the atmosphere in the classroom as Mrs rose our latern teacher came in and started handing out homework and assignments for our holiday. Me and Alfies mouths drop as we saw the stacks off sheets that needed to be done. "I can't be stuffed I yelled." The whole classroom fell silent with people all over the room giving me weird looks and just as Mrs rose turned around to give me another one of here huge telling offs Alfie stood up pushed his desk over and said " Yea this stuff is stupid" within five second the whole class had turned into a zoo with tables and chairs being flung across the room. I'm just thankful  lying on my bed writing this that i'm not doing BLOODY LANTERN!

As I looked over the edge I saw a seemingly infinite gap between me and the ground. Why did I decide to do this? As I dangle from the rock I was holding onto .my fingers slowly weakening as the tug of war between them and gravity proves almost too much for them. An excruciating death almost certainly awaiting me if I fall. Oh no my fingers are beginning to slide, there's nothing I can do, but wait for an inevitable death. I soon begin to fall …. I am embraced by the soft foam pit that is under the rocks.

I looked over the edge and then saw a crack on the side and I got scared. It got bigger and then chunks of concrete started coming off and then it cracked along the edge of the dam. I had to go I was scared. I started to run. I started to run and it started to fall behind me> I said to myself I might die. Then it stopped and I was so scared that In would fall. Nek minute I fall. I am falling. I was saying to myself I spoke to soon and to scared to talk and scream. The end.

One day I was walking with with a friend. when I saw the that the meteor in sky had disappeared. we were excited and worried.we kept on walking when the trial stopped and in front of us was a big hole.so, as I looked over the edge there was a crashed ufo with two giant, purple aliens. I tell my friend to duck down I take photos while he calls the cops. the FBI came and didn't believe us but when they saw the alien they ran like cowards. the FBI circled the aliens and killed them all

"Clo, for us to be in emergency care we must of done something crazy. What did happen?"

"well the last thing I remember was, as we looked over the edge, we saw a huge tornado forming. Next thing we know we were running for our dear life and this is where it has taken us, the Hospital."

Once upon a time a little boy lived on a mountain he had dream that one day he could jump off a cliff and fly into the clouds he had heard in designing a suit that had wings that could make him fly but he keep trying over and over again but could not find the perfect design so one day he looked over the edge of the mountain and he  said I saw something Mum look it's a bird from that day forward he knew what he was going to do five years later the end

Ashleigh W1 T3

As I hopped onto the catamaran, excitement rushed through me, I was glad to be able to swim with fish and the turtles. I got into the water and all the fish started surrounding me, it was incredible. We kept on swimming further out to find a reef and came across some turtles, they were beautiful. We then got told to head back to the boat, I was very disappointed. Sailing back someone yelled DOLPHINS so, as I looked over the edge I saw a school of dolphins, it was magnificent, the were even showing off. This trip was spectacular!

So,as I looked over the edge of the jump i saw what was waiting for me.i have mistaken the jump to be much longer but it was a shorter jump then i expected. Not knowing i went a full throttle into the jump and over shot it. Results massive, things broken collarbone and arm,fractured neck, concussion and stuffed for life. My rally car days flashed by one accident. Left me in hospital for 3 and a half weeks. Me, a nurse and a whole hospital room to myself. I guess its to race car manger now. Another to my Motorsports journey.

100 Word Challenge.

I can vividly remember strolling carelessly. There was a blank  hill plonked in my path. Annoyed, I continued on, paying no attention to my aching legs. Once I had trudged my way up the mound, I paused, as I looked over the edge. It was a Car... Yet, there was something staring at me. Cautiously, I crawled down a slope located by the vehicle. Standing before it, I traced the empty, greasy slot in the front of the car. I  peered over the edge of the car seat and I noticed a pair of green eyes, glaring at me!

It was 11:00pm. I had exam tomorrow so I was studying real hard. But my eyes were about to falling asleep so I decided to finish this tomorrow morning. I turned off the light and lied on the bed even though I didn’t brush my teeth. Suddenly, it wasn’t loud, but I heard a moving sound. The sound was coming from under the bed. I touched my arms and I felt my arms were covered in goosebumps. I was really afraid, but I encouraged myself and turned on the light. So, as I looked over the edge, I saw…..!

It had been a boring day at school, the bell rang and I began the 10 minute walk home. As normal I started walking with jack and calum but my house was further away so they had drifted off and I was by myself. Just as I was nearing my house walking around the corner wondering what was for afternoon tea I heard a sound slowly getting louder I could see what it was it was a motorbike! Racing round the corner and boom he went right over the corner. I looked over the edge and saw his body floating in the water.

We were climbing up a snowy mountain, we had been walking for hours but finally we reached the top. As I looked over the edge of the mountain I saw the most breathtaking sight. It was like I was on top of the world. That very moment the mountain started to shake, it was an earthquake, I knew I had to move. The avalanche was gaining on me and I knew I couldn't out run it. The snow crashed over me and sharp rocks stabbed my leg. At that moment I thought I was going to die. But I never did.

It was a sunny morning. Me and my friend decide to go for a walk. We had been walking for about an hour, walking along a cliffs edge, then we hear this weird noise. We look at each other and start running to where we heard the noise. We look over the edge and see this rare bird, protecting her eggs. Because other birds are attacking her. Me and my friend try to find a way down the cliff to help the bird. Finally we find one. We quickly climb down and shooed the birds away. The mother thanks us.

As the air blew in my face, my pony Simba dragged the sleigh through the snow. I caught a glimpse of glowing eyes all around me.Before it was to late I realised they were wolves. I told Simba to run and tried to keep the wolves from biting him. I realised we were heading for a cliff so I cut the rope of the the harness and Simba and I soared to the other side, So, as a I looked over the edge, I saw my sleigh split into a million pieces. That was the last time I went into the forest.

Mum told me never to go over the hedge as its too dangerous, as curiosity killed the cat, it nearly killed me. One day when mum went to work I decided to go over the hedge and see why it's dangerous, so as I looked over the hedge, I saw a forest. The forest looked amazing so I went in to explore. It was super fun until I stepped in a pile of bones, becoming even more curious I went in to investigate. Soon I came face to face with a bear, I ran all the way home away from the hedge.

All you need to know is that my name is Sadie and I am looking for the rare species of birds named Daffodil drones. These rare birds have never been spotted and I hope to be the first person that does. My studies of daffodil drones say that these birds like to hide in the sides of cliffs so that's where I'm going, The trek took an hour but once I arrived there was an amazing view. I knelt down by the edge of the cliff and so, as I looked over the edge, I saw a daffodil drone!

Tripping over twigs scattered on the ground, I scrambled to my feet, Running as hard as I could. All I could smell smoke, A bitter reminder of what I had lost. Still flat out sprinting I could hear my heart pounding and dizziness threatened to overwhelm me. Suddenly I felt my knees buckle under me, the cliff was right beneath me! Jim opened his door quietly and heard gruff voices coming from the living room, he swiftly walked over to the stairs.. Like a  a joke he muttered "so as i looked over the edge i saw ... Snap!
