"Wait so when did it arrive?" I said, a look of excitement on my face. The letter on my bed was a invitation to the dinner held at the White house! I'd put my application in for the competition a few weeks ago and the letter of congratulations had arrived this morning! I was so excited. In 10 days I'd be sitting in the white house. I'd wanted to meet the president for years and who knows, maybe this was my ticket to fame. I raced upstairs to raid my cupboard for my favourite dress, and imagined the statement I'd make.

I really liked how you used your adjectives perhaps you could have describe why you want to see Trump.
