Emma T3 W5

As I opened the old rusty mailbox door, I saw a brown moldy letter sitting inside. My eyes lit up like stars as I knew that it was from my dad, who was overseas fighting for me and our country. I raced inside and tore open the moldy letter, as I read the contents of the letter, I was aware of the smile on my pale face, as I soaked in the words my dad had wrote. When I saw the last words " I'm coming home my love, from your dearest father." And that's when the wet tears hit me.
